A New Dimension to Learning

Founded on 24th April 1892 by Late Gopal Narayan Akshikar and Late Ganesh Ramchandra Lele, the General Education Institute began its journey with a vision to make quality education accessible to all.


Today, that vision thrives through a strong network of schools and colleges—including 8 Pre-primary, 8 Primary, 9 Secondary Schools, 8 Junior Colleges, 1 Senior College, 2 English Medium, 3 CBSE, and 2 International Schools—across Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad districts.


With over 18,000 students pursuing their educational dreams, the Institute takes pride in having established some of the oldest and most respected schools in these regions. GEI's Blossom International School is one of the school established and administered by the General Education Institute, Dadar.
